Colts Community Tuesday

As part of our Free to Dream initiative, check out how the Indianapolis Colts and American Family Insurance teamed up to give back to the community.

Speaker: Ande Stadtler, Director of Community Impact: First Community Tuesday of the Season. We are at Eastbrook Elementary School for uniform blitz, so we are giving over 580 kiddos of brand new uniforms Colt swag and toiletry items and we just want to make sure that clothing isn't a barrier to coming to school to having a great day at school and to being successful at school. We're so grateful to American Family Insurance for making this day happen, we couldn't do it without them. They not only support the day monetarily but they also provide a bunch of swag items that the kids get: water bottles, belt bags, hand sanitizer, they're just a really great partner to come alongside us for this.

Speaker: Lucas Deshong, American Family Insurance Agent: Events like this are just so special, we get to come together as a group of agents, of players, of all walks of life and really pour back into our community and pour back into the kids and I think that is really really special.

Speaker: Anthony Richardson, Quarterback: We're just coming out here showing love and support you know, just giving back to them so everybody can get taken care of. Whenever I get the opportunity to come out here and just show my and show some love it's like why not come out here and try to put a smile on somebody's face you know, just hoping it makes somebody day and I'm just trying my best to do that.

Colts and American Family Insurance bring ‘School Uniform Blitz’ shopping experience to local school

The Indianapolis Colts and American Family Insurance kicked off the regular season and Colts Community Tuesday by taking more than 350 students from Eleanor Skillen Elementary School #34 on a “shopping experience” in the school gym. The students were able to pick out school clothing to help eliminate appropriate school attire as a barrier for kids getting to and staying in school.
